LENFLEX - Precautions for storage of hydraulic hose
The storage of hydraulic hose has requirements for temperature and humidity. It should also be far away from direct sunlight and strong artificial light source. It should be placed in the dark to avoid damage during storage.
Precautions for storage of hydraulic hose
（1） The storage period of rubber hose shall be as short as possible. Generally, the maximum length of bulk rubber hose is 4 years and the maximum length of rubber hose assembly is 2 years. The principle of "first in, first out" shall be followed.
（2） When storing rubber hoses, they shall be placed separately according to different varieties and specifications, and clearly marked to prevent confusion.
（3） The rubber hose shall be stored in a dark place away from the sun and strong artificial light source, and shall be stored in a relaxed state as far as possible. The rubber hose with an inner diameter of more than 76mm shall generally be stored straight.
（4） If the rubber hose needs to be stacked, the stacking height shall be limited to the extent that the bottom rubber hose does not produce permanent deformation. And it shall be frequently "stacked" during storage, generally not less than once a quarter. Moreover, it is strictly prohibited to stack heavy objects on the pipe body to prevent extrusion and damage by external forces.
（5） The storage temperature should be between 0 ~ 35 ºC, preferably about 15 ºC. During the storage of rubber hose, the temperature shall not exceed 50 ºC or be lower than - 30 ºC, and there shall be no abnormal fluctuation. When there is a heat source near the storage area, the distance from the heat source shall meet the above requirements. The relative humidity in storage should preferably not exceed 65%.
（6） There shall be no equipment that can generate ozone in the storage area, such as mercury vapor lamp (tube), high-voltage electrical equipment, motor or other equipment that can generate electric spark (charge).
（7） There shall be no equipment that can generate electric field or magnetic field near the storage area to prevent the change or fluctuation of electromagnetic field from generating induced current in the metal joint and heating it.
（8） During the storage of special rubber hose (such as rubber hose for transporting and sucking food), in addition to the above requirements, the pipe body shall also be kept clean to prevent the rubber hose from being polluted.
（9）During daily warehouse inspection, pay attention to check the storage period of hydraulic pipes and the aging of sealing rings. If the storage period is exceeded, some of the nozzle sealing rings may be aged (if they are aged, you should buy another sealing ring to replace them). If they are installed on the equipment, the joint may leak oil.
