It is a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit. The lotus tower has 9 floors outside and 11 floors inside. The outside is octagonal, with brick and wood structure and spiral stairs, which can reach the top of the tower. There are door openings of different sizes and shapes on each floor of the tower. The tower is 50 meters high and is the highest point on Lotus Mountain. Lotus tower has experienced many vicissitudes. When Guangzhou was occupied in 1938, it was attacked by Japanese artillery. The tower is riddled with bullet wounds. In 1981 and 1997, with the support of Hong Kong and Macao compatriots, the lotus tower was rebuilt. On the lotus tower, you can see the lion ocean in the East.
